LWV TA Annual Meeting. This is the meeting ending the fiscal year 2017-2018 for the LWV TA. During it, the budget, bylaws, president's annual report and nominating committee will be voted on and reports from the various committees will be read. The decision of what to study for the summer study will be decided and candidate's nights will be decided.

Candidate's Night for Oakland County Board of Commissioners. A Candidate's Forum for three Districts of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners will be held in the public access studios. The public is welcome 7-7:30pm District 11 730-8pm District 16 8-8:30 pm District 20 Questions are planned to be taken from the audience in writing and all candidates not yet questioned will be sequestered in order to ask them the same questions to be able to answered questions they all will encounter during their meetings at the Board of Commissioners.

Candidate's Night for State Representative District 41. State Representative District 41 covers all of Troy and Clawson so we hold the Candidate's Night for it in Clawson where it is cablecast and shown on YouTube and other times on the cable stations. The public is welcome and no reservations are necessary. You do not need to be a resident of Troy or Clawson to attend.

Questions will be taken from the audience in writing. Both Republicans and Democrats will be invited. Call Karen at 248.828.3470 for more information.

Contained herein are the video and UTube information on where and how to view the LWV TA listings of replays of the OCBoard of Commissioners and State Representative District 41 Candidate Nights. While we sent out press releases of the candidate nights, not much made it to the public so we did the next best thing and placed them for peoples' access on their computers. There is http://www.VOTE411.org to read candidates' responses but we will not print a voter guide for the primary election as it is available online. We plan on having a printed voter's guide for the November general election.
