Ceremonial Check Presentation. Troy Community Foundation has awarded League of Women Voters of Troy Area a grant to print They Represent You brochures and pay for the website. The check has been given to us and put into our Education Fund and helped pay for the current brochures. The presentation of the ceremonial check will be given to us at this time and photographed for their files and press releases. All Leaguers are welcome to participate.

Swearing In Ceremony Reception and Registering to Vote. We will happily welcome the newly sworn in citizens to their new home and country, have a reception for them and have the city clerk on hand to register them to vote. We will also give them information on how to get more information on the candidates. Registering them to vote via the city clerk allows them to vote absentee the first time since they will be identified by official personnel.

LWV TA Kick Off Dinner. This is the official kick off of our work year tho we will have been working all summer educating ourselves and preparing for the upcoming election. We will enjoy the camaraderie of our fellow members, significant others, friends, and anyone from the city who wants to join us in a pizza and salad and dessert and beverage dinner and speaker to be announced. Cost is $10 per person if you eat and free if you come to hear the speaker only. This is a fundraiser for the LWV Troy Area. Please RSVP to Pam at 248.689.2310.
