Secrets of the Soil. Discussion of making your soil more earth friendly, starting with soil testing. Reservations are needed but the event is free. Several displays and handouts are available so come early.

Stage Nature Center and another area in
Troy
Frog and Toad monitoring for the Friends of the Rouge River. The natural resources committee monitors two locations in Troy for frogs and toads. Weather must be greater than 46 degrees F after dusk. This is done several times over the spring time. Members of the Friends of the Rouge keep track from year to year to see any changes that would show differences in the water conditions in the Rouge.

Beaver Creek in Sterling Heights Adopt A Stream (AAS) on the Clinton River Watershed. Natural resources members of LWV TA scan the Beaver Creek for benthic macroinvertibrates twice a year to determine differences in what is found in the water to determine water quality and conditions.

Here is when we come together in full membership and vote on bylaws, budget, and nominations for expiring offices and give direction to the board on what to study and pursue in the coming year.
